HBBC Making a Difference awards – Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group win award.
The Steering Group were delighted and surprised to win the 2019 group award for Protecting, Improving and Supporting our Environment. Clive Stretton and John Ward attending the award ceremony to collect the prestigious local award on behalf of the group. Thank you to Sheepy Parish Council for the nomination.
June 2019 – Supporting HBBC @ Neighbourhood Plan workshop
John Ward supported Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council by presentation our Steering Group work at the Neighbourhood Plan workshop in the Atkins Building on 11th June. This presentation was well received and the attendees appreciated learning from the experiences and approach of our group.
Neighbourhood Plan – Approved at Referendum
The Steering Group are delighted to confirm that the Neighbourhood Plan was approved at referendum today. Excellent turnout with 90% supporting the plan. Thank you to everyone who turned out to vote and for supporting us on journey.
Refendum voting cards
Following announcement of the Referendum we can confirm anyone registered on the electoral role and resides in Sheepy Parish will automatically receive voting cards. The referendum is admistered by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council (HBBC). For any queries please contact HBBC electoral services. Thank you
