Neighbourhood Plan passed independent examination

We are delighted to advise that our Neighbourhood Plan successfully PASSED independent examination.

All minor modifications requested by the Independent Examiner were agreed by the Steering Group & accepted by the Parish Council & Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and have been incorporated into the Neighbourhood Plan in readiness for the Referendum.

Final steps

Validation and sign off by the Parish Council & Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council by the end of January.

Finalisation of plans for a parish Referendum to adopt the Neighbourhood Plan in the first half of March 2019.

This will be the culmination of nearly 4 years’ work, a tremendous achievement for the Parish as a whole!  Sheepy will be delivering the first Neighbourhood Plan for Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council since 2014.  (A huge undertaking especially as the work has been more involved following legislation change)

Well done everyone

The referendum is your chance to support the Neighbourhood Plan, a legally recognised document created based on what you told us you wanted to see in the Parish. Remember the Neighbourhood Plan will be used when assessing planning applications and developments within the Parish.
