SHEEPY PARISH Neighbourhood Plan APRIL UPDATE
Thank you to the local landowners, stakeholders, businesses, clubs and societies for attending the Stakeholder Event in March. We had a great turn out with over 40 people attending.
We are now analysing the feedback from both the Drop In and Stakeholder Event to shape the content of our household questionnaire.
VOLUNTEERS – Could you spare a few evenings in March and April? We are looking for volunteers to help us draft our household questionnaire. We have the set up Working Groups covering the following topics:
- Environment / Flooding/Renewable Energy
- History & Heritage / Housing
- Traffic & Transport
- Facilities & Services / Employment / Business / Economy
Steering group – At our March meeting we were delighted to welcome Brian Screaton and Tom Johnson to the Steering Group. Brian Screaton was elected into the vacant role of Finance Officer.
NEXT STEPS – We aim to provide initial feedback from the consultation events over the next couple of months, Our time will be focused on developing a questionnaire to gain more detailed insight on the community’s views. Our target
is to distribute the questionnaire early summer.
