Description: The Shepshed Fieldwork Group walked the fields centred (SK 302001), (sK 302999), (SK 305002) and (SK 304001) in 2003. A range of flint artefacts were recovered and included a core, a flake, a damaged blade core and an undated retouched piece. Other finds consisted of a scatter of Roman pottery with 6 sherds concentrated near to the road and 9 further sherds widely dispersed. <1 & 2>
